February Meeting

The February MAAST meeting will be held on Sunday, February 22 at 2 pm in San Antonio at Misti Thueson's house. This meeting will be a true frag swap! Bring some frags to trade with others! Softies, mushrooms, LPS, SPS... whatever you have that you want to share. The address is 18736 Rogers Glen, 78258!

Hope to see everyone bring great corals to share!

Jenn- with striped mushrooms you just grab a blade and chop off the head, or just a section (they both work) - then you get a frag AND the old one grows back!

Black corals live at 160 feet and deeper. Farther than I want to dive for a reef collection. Not to metion they are an endangered species and they are liable to kill you in Cozumel and the Yucatan for collecting them there. I'd rather not see the inside of a mexican prison....LOL....

I'll be there. I dont have much to bring since my tank is new. But I have some mushrooms and Zoanthids. I will need help fraging them if someone will help me out. Just give me a shout if you want to lend a hand.

A real frag swap. :) You mean we bring frags and swap them instead of going to the bank first and taking out a small loan lol. :)

If you need to go to the bank it will be to pay other members, not the club!!! May be a good idea to stop by any way. Someone might have the perfect frag for you and they may not want what you have to offer!!!! Never know!

Also Jim Norris thank you so much for the frags at the meeting they are all doing wonderfully i just wish i had a good camera to take them with...shhh my wife dosent know i droped our cannon

Membership can be purchased at the meeting.

I'm sure you might be able to convince a few fellow members to part with their frags for $... but if not you'll at least have fun enjoying the conversations.
