I will be the guinea pig on this one. I called the guy and talked to him for about an hour. He is in Toronto and the 8 way unit runs about $400. You can get the four way with the rotating spouts for about $280-300. He can customize this thing as well. It looks pretty interesting. I am going to order one to use on my closed loop. I am not oging to get sea swirls and will try this instead. He says it is quiet and looks to be built pretty well. I will keep you posted.

This is a good thread on it. It is a Canadian SW Forum site. This thing looks to be pretty interesting. Lots of discussion with the inventor about the parts, mechanics, etc. This guy was very interesting to talk to on the phone. He seems to really know his stuff.

Any idea how much the 4-way without the rotating spouts is?

The 4 way without the spouts is $199 I think. Not too sure though. There are a couple of threads on reefcentral about it. Do a search for Oceans Motions and spell it just like that. Pretty interesting discussion on the only thread that will come up. If you are interested in it, let me know and we can split the shipping.

Only thing I am worried about is that I have not found anybody who has used the thing, but if works like the owner (Paul) says it will, this will be one hot item. He seems to have put a lot of effort into it.

The dangers of the reef go way beyond shipwrecks. Many a bank account has been wrecked upon a reef as well.

I got on the list to get one of these bad boys. There is apparently a lot of demand for this little device.

I talked to him again today. He thinks they might have some ready to go this weekend. Might get lucky and have one in next week. He is going to do another video with the thing hooked up to a jacuzzi pump. That will be quite a test to see it handle 5000gph or more!

I invited Paul to chime in one the retailers section of our site if anyone has any questions about this thing.
