I have a fairy wrasse in my 226, do you think he would do okay with another one? The one I am looking at has a lot of pink on (?her?) ...

As long as you don't have a mated pair, you should be ok. Not real sure about 2 males, if one was in there first.
If you do end up with a mated pair, don't add more wrasses unless you want to take a huge chance for death to the new member. Once mated, the male wrasse will own the tank and is extremely likely to kill all newcomer wrasses of even different species. Learned that one the hard way.

Is your tank covered? Fairy wrasses are extreme jumpers - personally I would not mix different species but in a tank that size you may get away with it. I used to have a beautiful C.solorensis I had to trade away since my evil dottyback kept chasing her into the overflow.

Thanks all.

I haven't had any problems with jumping with current fairy wrasse. The tank is 30 x 30 x 60 with about 6 inches of overflow along the back wall. The hood is 19 inches tall, open at the top and the back.

I also have a covered 120 that I have been trying to figure out what to put in it since the clown gobies disappeared (hawk?). Hawk is now in a "big fish" tank with a dwarf lion, a mean Percula and a clown tang. The hawk grabbed the lion's good sized ghost shrimp today with a vengeance!--right in the middle of the ghost shrimp (hope this is not too graphic) Hopefullythe hawk was the problem and the front tank is now safe.
