Turbinaria

I picked up a brownish with yellow polyp turbinaria at a local lfs the other day. It had a white spot on it where the flesh was missing and I thought maybe it was a scrape because it was a frag. It has been in the tank for two days and although it looks healthy and the polyps extend the white spot is getting bigger. Obviously not a scrape ... Here is a pic and the little white spot is towards the back right. Should I frag the frag and discard the rest? Thanks

Pete, you may try patching the white area with some super glue gel. This is kind of like a bandaid and may allow the area to regrow instead of busting up the entire coral. I'd take a tube of glue gel and cover the area and let it be and see how it does for you.
