For any of you wonderin about how much of a difference MHs would make on the color of certain corals compared to PCs check out these pics.
The first one was taken about a month ago when I had 2-96w PCs over my tank and the next one was taken just awhile ago with my 250W MH. Pretty cool huh? Only way I've edited these photos is to fix the focus and to resize.

From what I have read on RC, polyps can change colors like Acros can. To be completely fair, you should put your PC lights back up and take a picture of the polyps as they are now. This will prove they they actually changed color, and that it is not just the change in the light spectrum from PC to MH reflecting different colors into your eyes.

Mine do the same thing. It's just the spectrum difference on my Polyps. They lose almost all of their color under the 400w 6500 bulb.

Yeah, the rock looks like the same old rock (color). But the zoos definately changed color. Thanks for posting that. I guess I have to get off my tail and covert to MHs.

Looks like you were using 20kK, yes/no?

MH is a 20K supplemented with actinics, PCs were one 10K with one actinic
