Hi Steve,

I have a medium sized Niger and two adult Engineer Gobies in the same tank. They do not bother each other at all. Both are neat fish in their own way.

BTW, I know where you can find a baby Niger and Engineer Gobies. ;)

Steve, you always take a risk when mixing agressive fish with others. Nigers can grow to ten inch in an aquarium. I don't think 30 gallons will be big enough for long. They grow fairly fast when fed well. I would advise against starving it to keep it small as your gobies will more than likely vanish. Stick to fish that don't grow more than 2 inch until we get you a bigger tank.
By the way how is it going in College Station you big Aggie stud you?

so a no-go on the trigger then? shucks, i was kinda hopin id be able to finally get my favorite fish. i wonderin though tim, i plan on gettin that larger tank pretty soon, do u think the little guy would outgrow my setup before, say, the end of the summer???

and im LOVIN it down here is college station, whoever said that this place isnt that fun was sadly mistaken! ive been havin a blast ever since i got in and the folks here are so nice and friendly(not to mention homegrown country girls down here lookin good ;) )

thanks for the tips guys. another question i guess i should ask then is what sorts of fish do you think would go well in my tank? id like to get at least about 4-5 fish in this tank so i know that they would have to be small so any suggestions would be great!

thanks, steve

well they sell em up here for 5.99 a piece :O thats the best price ive ever seen them, i think if theyre still there ill buy all 3 of them next week, and they all look really healthy.

im really impressed with the lfs here in college station, nice and clean and good prices on healthy lookin fish, although the dry goods are a bit pricey i think they make up for it in livestock.
