i bought a bunch of nassarius snails today, and it turns out that one of them is not a snail at all, its a red hermit crab... i don't mind keeping him, but i have read that he will kill snails.... is this going to be a problem, because i like my snails better than him, so if there is gonna be a problem, i wanna take him back asap. thanks

is it a scarlet (bright red legs) or a red leg (dark, dull red legs)? either way i've kept both and only had problems when food sources ran low. ie...low on algae or extra food from feedings.

it has dark, dull red legs, turns out it ate three of the snails during acclimation, so it looks like he is going back to the store tomorrow... thank you for trying to help me...
