Not that I know of. I did not even know Tx Tropical carried it. CB Pets can probably order it. Keep an eye on the Group order section. They do orders from HelloLights and get great mh prices.

You are much better off ordering online. I got screwed by Alamo Aquatics on a MH bulb that I am embarrased to even tell you how much I paid. I could have gotten a better quality bulb online for half the price.

thanks, i am having such a hard time trying to figure out what lighting to get, and whenever deals come up for used systems i can never decide if it is worth it or not, so i just wanted to check and see what the lfs were offering, but i guess not much

Joshua usually handles the hellolights orders. www.hellolights.com They have good stuff. WAY cheaper than anyplace local I would guess. When enough people get together, he (or someone else) can place the order. Josh saved me over $80 on my light kit.

just a FYI if you want to take the drive to Austin both Aquatek and Austin Aquariums sell bulbs - I know Aquatek carries the Geismann pendants which are really nice but a bit pricey.

Since aquatic warehouse has indicated that they want to get in on a large order instead of us always going online, maybe one of you guys who wants to order some mh lighting can get the order together and see what kind of deal they'd give you? It would be nice to support our only marine-only store in S.A. My reefkeeping life definitely changed when aquarium sales and service went out of business. Now we have a new place committed to our hobby in town; at least think about it.

Richard at CB has also said he can order stuff. They are expanding their SW section and have a quarrantine system as well.
