What kind of eggs are these? They don't look like the black Cerith snail eggs, so then??
A white Cerith and an astrea shell can be made out to the bottom left corner of the pic to give you an idea of the relative size of the egg strand on the glass. The eggs inside the clear gel are tiny white specks.

Are they kind of stringy and blow around in the current? I'm not sure what they are from, but I think I have seen them in my tank before. Usually on the glass for awhile and then they disappear.

Yeah, on the ends they are. The black cerith egg strands are very close to this, but, not all wadded or coiled up inside the gel from what they have done in the past. That is why I said these were not Ceriths.

My ceriths do that on the glass every now and again (the coiling egg strings).

Compared to the White Cerith snail eggs in Joshua's tank, these look like them.

Caught in the act. It would be nice if any actually made it to snails.

I've seen acouple at night with a flashlight before. Really cool cause they're so small their little shells are transparent. Dunno if it was this kind though

My six lined wrasse pair would probably eat any small snails that made it anyway.
So you do sit up all night with a flashlight just like me! :D Fanatics like company!

It would be nice if any actually made it to snails. They have in my tank. I have @ 100 or better little ones roaming around in my tank now. I dont know exactly which one type they are yet or even if they are a mix. I get four different type of eggs on the glass. I get the sesame seed looking eggs on the glass and rock, the above picture type, the zig zag more solid type and a little clear sack with white specs in it. If I can grab some shots of them I will post.
The only snails I have "put in" my tank are nassarius, nerite and cerith.
