I had never heard of these before but they are showing up on some wholesalers lists. Be happy to order one for someone err... prepaid and no guarantee that is.

richard...how much for a harlequin tusk? it seems the everyweekedn i get pumped up to buy one, they are out. then the next weekend ive already spent my money on somethin else and they have one...dmant
i know there are two different ones correct? how much for the cheaper one?

We only get the ones from New Caladonia - the expensive ones. They have ranged from 80 - 120 bucks depending on size, time of year. I would recommend you spend the extra $ on one of these for two reasons. First, they are a much prettier fish as adults than the ones from the phillipines and second, although stuff from the phillipines is generally cheaper they are well known for their destructive collection practices.
