alright, i just picked up my first fish, two small clowns and a coral beauty... i bought some formula 1 flake and some frozen cube food, when i feed the frozen food however, it just floats at the top of the water, is there a secret to doing the frozen food or is it just supposed to sit at the top?
thanks

I let all of my food (flake too) sit in a cup of tank water for a few minutes. I then swirl ir around in there until it starts to sink. Then I pour it in small amounts into the tank. Makes it all sink pretty well.
The frozen stuff, make sure it thaws in the cup of tank water first. When it is frozen, the ice causes it to float. Swirl it around in there and it will come apart and sink.

I have one of those feeding stations that keeps the food in it until it starts to sink on it's own. I do thaw out the frozen first though.

i also thaw it out in a cup then stick my finger in the cup and mash the cube of food until it becomes little tiny peices then pore it in little at a time.

How many people strain or rinse their frozen food? I haven't been.

ok, i stirred the stupid frozen cube for a really long time, prob near 15 minutes or so, some of the stuff sinks, whatever is in the food that has eyes, krill maybe, but there is this one kind of pink stuff that always floats back up to the top, is there something i am doing wrong?
