View Full Version : JIM'S MEETING - need food

Jenn
Sat, 10th Jan 2004, 09:15 AM
I have discussed with Jim about everyone bringing some type of food item. I think it would be great since Jim and his Wife are opening their doors to us, we can all make it a little easier on them. It was nice to have it at Alex and Am's last meeting.

I will be bringing a veggie tray and some cookies - the good and the bad.

If you are going to attend, please consider bringing something, and post it on here so we get a good variety.

Thanks for all your help,
Jenn

Is there a way of getting an estimate of how many people will attend so that we can make a guess of what or how much of something might be needed.

Jeff Post, probably need to start a list of whos coming and what they are bringing. don't want to end up with 5,000 cokes and 1 bag chips. lol

Dang Robert,
If I'm riding up with you it better be locked up, otherwise they may only get 3 or 4 links by the time we get there.

If it looks like we need more of anything please post so I can add to my list if needed.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I should have about a dozen mounted Xenia elongata frags at the meeting. I'd like to request a $5 donation to MAAST for one of them. Any spare rubble (LR or dry) would be appreciated so I can keep bringing them.

What do you think would travel well from San Angelo? We're going thru San Antonio on the way home and I know that Rudy's travels great going back the other way. Husband is coming with me.
