Man I really wish I could take a picture instead of trying to describe this thing but here goes....I have a hitchhiker that has been in my tank for about a year that seems to even be reproducing. It has a mouth just like a snail, is about 2" long, solid black, kinda looks like a snail without a shell. It has a white stripe running from head to end that will close up when light shines on it (i know sounds weird as hell) and always cruises around live rock munchin on algae. The LFS where I bought the coral said he had some before and called them limpets but this guy has no type of shell whatsoever. I was hoping maybe someone else has this thing and knows what it is. I started with one and now have three, the original being the largest and tonight when I was looking at it with a flashlight it was blowing out what looked like smoke from a vent kinda on its back. It did that for about 5 minutes off and on and then went back to eating. Weird thing it is but I really like the little sucker. Any ideas?
