hey, well welcome to the world of the splitting rose anemone, mine's split twice since i had it, i wish it would stop, but i guess that means our tanks are doing good hopefully, i just wish it would get big and stay as one, congratulation as well!!!!!(maybe if we stop feeding them, they'll stop) :-D

Thanks, I was feeding it every day. Now I think i'll go back to 2 or 3 times a week. Both of them are doing great. The original was from Alvin on ebay.

I feed both of mine daily, they are huge but have yet to split. I've tried raising salinity, lowering, raising PH, lowering, Big water changes, and now I've changed the lighting from VHO to 250w halides. NO SPLIT! They are really big now and just wondering what you guys have done if anything to get them to split. I am going to add Matt's Monster to maybe change the water and see if that works?

I'm trying that now. No changes for about 3 weeks now. The clowns sure like it stable, they are dancing again with each other. I'm adding the skimmer and giving up. That is usually when growth explodes in my tanks, when I forget about them for a while.

Tim,

I'll tell you what I always did to get my anemones to split. Just completely break down your tank, drive around for about a 1000 miles or so, and then you will have lot of baby anemones. After you fell that everything is near death, stop driving and let everything sit in an ice chest for a day or two while you put your tanks back up. It works every times.

I started with 3 LTA's. When I was done I had 9.
