I was not feeding the tank, and whatever it is is too big to fit is his mouth, just have to wonder what the heck it is hes eating......this may answer where all my snails are.......... :D

Several hawk species can be voracious snail eaters and may attack small crabs, shrimp, and fish. the freckled and arc-eyes are most often guilty, but the other species may pick them off as well

well i always thought that flame hawks weren't reef safe, im surprized you still have any chromis left at all!!!

well i belive they eat what fits in there mouth, so i guess that means you cant add nomore cleaner shrimp to your reef???

I have a flamehawk and 2 cleaner shrimp and 2 peppermint shrimp...no probs here. My flamehawk is a pig in eating - I just keep him fed well...he'll eat anything. Sits on top of the rocks looking up for food... :D
