i have to move my tank

Well my tank is on my dads mesquite floors and i spilt some water today and i have to move my tank. Oh well. I have a 30g qtine tank to put all my fish in, so they should be ok. Since i am taking it down, and have a good place for my fish to stay for a while, i want to get the tank drilled. Right now it is way underpowered with a wet/dry and mag 7. Do you think this is a good idea, and where can i get it drilled?

It's a great idea; you'll be very happy to ditch your hang on overflow. Last time I checked, the guys at Aquatic warehouse, the new marine fish store in town, were drilling tanks at a good price. Don't forget you're going to need an overflow box as well.

i can build your overflow when your ready unless you have other plans.built to what you want in black or clear.

Thanks guys, i am hoping to get it drilled tomorow. Dan-i may get you to build it. How big of holes should i get drilled? I want to run a mag 12.

Someone told me that a a 1.5in pipe would run 1200gph. I would need to have the hole drilled 2 3/8in. Is this a common size? Will even be able to get that drilled?
