You ever have a problem with your Nautilus skimmer spitting out lots of bubbles? I just moved into a new tank and now lots of micro bubbles are comin out...any suggestions?

Mine does this from time to time. Just lower your outlet tube alittle bit so you dont get alot of wet foam in the cup. Be patient and the micro bubbles will stop in an hour or so.

ive had this skimmer for a while and it worked awesome....so when i moved into the 100 gallon, i tore everything down and cleaned it real good. and now bubbles are pourting out of the outlet tube.
you know that black cone inside the skimmer where the water comes out of? like on the inside of the chamber the big cone thing at the bottom...bubbles used to never go below the top of that thing and i could clearly see it. now bubles are everywhere inside the thing. could cleaning it have made it bubbles?

Just for clarification...its microbubbles coming out of the outlet tube...not into the collection cup. I can see them flowing up and out of the tube. its really starting to get annoying. the tank is lookin awesome, but these bubbles really ruin it. :(

sorry it took so long to get back with you.. first if you cleaned the skimmer out its going to do that for awhile. mine is doing the same thing
but as alge builds up on the foam pad and inside the tubes it will stop again. if you want a quick way to slow them down go to texas or a LFS
and get yourself a filtersponge for a oceanic RR tank there alittle bigger
arround but the inside diam is the same. so slide the small one that came with the skimmer down the tube (pay attention to how high your outflow tube is!) slide the new one on top of the tube and down to meet the
other sponge.
it will stop after awhile you just need to reseason your skimmer and
outflow filter. again this quickfix wont stop it all but will cut it down allot and will take a few hours.

lol.. like i said if you need help give me a call and ill do what i can but from what it sounds like you might be trying to make the skimmer work harder than what its supposed to . try lowering the
the outflow tube an inch for a couple of hours and see if it goes away.
remember you want the bubble level to break right at the bottom
of the upsidedown cone(does that make sence???)if you have the
level higher in the cone you pushing the skimmer. also what
pump are you running?? did you switch to a new pump for
the bigger tank??? if so that might be the problem.
