new tank/rose split*again*

okay all, just thought i let yall know i set up my new 58gal. , and i really love how it turned out, after i did the switch over everything seemed happy, when i got up today i saw everything out and about, i also noticed my rose split again, now i have two 4inch roses, im very happy with my new setup, all i need now is like 15-20lbs of liverock and ill be set, i also wanted to add a purple tang along with my yellow tang, there both baby's but we'll see what happens, well merry christmas to all and a happy new year!!!

Congrats rudy! Are You willing to sell of the rose BTA's?

I'd add the Purple Tang at the same time as the LR. That should be enough of a disruption in the tank to keep the Yellow Tang from attacking the Purple. They are both members of the surgeon family and are very territorial. The Yellow Tang is going to want to defend his territory. By adding the landscape with the LR he is going to think its in a new territory.

well kia ill let you know if my cousin doesn't fall through, it'll be about 2 weeks b4 i sell it, i like for it to heal first, and it takes that long, especially to develope a new mouth! thanks for the heads up gary, i guess i can buy the rock and fish at the same time, and see what happens, hopefully there's no conflict between them :shock: !

Congrats and happy holidays I was hoping to wake to a new present in the tank but ... is there anything special you are doing that is causing it to split? The one I got is almost 6+" already and plump. It too eats like a horse.

I told you Caca that I would want the rose BTA, cause the last time you sold it and I had the money. So it's really up to you. You know I want to buy the rose. But you always sell it to someone else.
