View Full Version : polyp eating snails or nudibranch?

I think I have a terrible friggin problem. I have some critters that look like snails with antenna and little pod/hornlike looking thing on its back. ALL of my zoanthids are closed up. I also have some palyothoa polyps that are clsoed up. Sorry I cant get a good pic, I have a Canon G5 and dont know how to do a close up shot for crap. Anyone know hat I should do about it?
I found a pic on saltwaterfish.com reef tank forum and they said it was a polyp eating nudi? i dont know

a fresh water dip might eliminate it if you can kill it firsthand. just a thought....

Tim you are welcome to every dam one of them. I have sucked a few out with a turkey baster. I would say there are probably 50 or more. I think I may try the frech water dip, is this going to be safe to do t my zoos and other corals? thanks for your help, MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I plucked a softie eating nudie out of my tank a few months ago. I'll try to dig up the thread with the pic.

plucked him out with tweezers and threw him into jail tank
