Southdown is pure aragonite sugar sized sand. Same as carib-sea or aragamax just sold as play sand so it's cheaper just hard to find around here. That's basically what I'm using in my fuge.

Southdown is exactly the same thing as Carib-Sea. We had a guy that worked for Southdown in our group in NC that got it for us. The difference is package size and price. Southdown is sold for playgrounds. If you read the fine print on the bag it says "not for aquarium use." Hah! You can buy the 50 lb. bag cheaper than the 20 lb. bag of Carib-Sea. One is marketed as a commodity, the other as a specalty product. Sorta like that high dollar buffer that you can buy for $1 at HEB.

OK guys, and gals, I have the rock and the sand. You guys need to get all the money together and Pay Pal Cody as soon as you can! Don't forget this is a business for him and he doesn't extend credit. He dropped the sand here for the benefit of the club so lets get him paid. I have rock for $2.25 a lbs this week and $3.00 a lbs next week. Not really heavy corraline growth, but still very nice shapes. Excellent rock at this price! Hurry while I'm still in the holiday spirit....LOL........

One lump sum would be best. Josh, since you started this thread can you collect? Then we can make it easy for Cody to do business with the club. If it gets to complicated for him to collect he may just decide not to sell to us.
