Very nice. Is that a pink A.millepora I see? Very nice.

Is that the same H.magnifica you had or a new one?

Green metallic alveopora is nice as well.

Glad your tank is recovering !

Thanks.

......
It is a purple and blue tip A. millepora (I think)
I was lucky enough to see this H. magnifica in Houston. It is small, with off center mouth and is very colorful. I got it in hope that it can divide in my tank. It is even more colorful than my last H. magnifica. It was bleached but otherwise healthy without evidence of injury including foot injury. It is recovering nicely in my tank.
Of the four H. magnifica clones that I had, two went to friend’s tanks and are still there. The other two perished with my tank.

Deal! Jim can get larger frags for you, but I can give you a bunch of small frags. The way you keep your tank though it won't be long before I am getting them back to sell. LOL.....

what kind of equipment are you using? i would love to have a mandarin, but im not sure that i have the pods to support it. My fuge is underneath draining into the sump, so they will get eaten in the return im sure. i do have 250lbs of rock though.....

jAlex,
My tank is a 450 g with a sand bed about 6-8 inches. I have about 250 pounds of LR and a few corals in it right now. I have three400 W MH and two 250 W MH for the main tank. I also have a 400 W MH for the refugium which is a 125 g tank.
For circulation, I have three Ampmaster 3000. One return from the sump and two for two close loop. I have a Gen-X PCX 40 pumping water for a Pacific Coast 1 HP chiller. I also have a Iwakli 70 pumping water for a PM Bullet XL2 skimmer. I have a home make 4 chamber Ca reactor. I also have a Liter meter adding auto top off water through a home made Kalk reactor. I got a buch to timmer, one for each of the light and a digital themometer to keep track of the tank temperature. I set the ciller to keep tank temperature between 80 and 82.

If you have 250 pound of rock and if you feeed your tank daily, you haoyld hve enough for one or two mandarin (two if you don't have any other fish that will competer with them for food). They are beautiful, rewarding fiah to keep if you can feed them. The only requirement for these fish are their live food. Other than that, they are very hardy and disease free. Good luck.

Malofish,
I love to get one of this frag if I don't have one already. I do have a green Montipoora capricornis that is green. I also have another plating Montipora sp, with golden color (honey color) and greenen large polyps.
Do you have a picture of this coral?

My tank is a 135 with the following fish:
2 yellow tangs
1 scopas tang
1 blue tang
6 chromis
1 bicolor blenny
1 flame hawk

Also have 1 urchin. I was debating on getting a HOB fuge JUST to support pods, but havent found one that will fit yet. I have 2 400w halides and 2 6ft VHO's for lighting.

Minh, glad to see that you are setting up again - noticed that you now are using a litremeter to pump kalkwasser. What happened to your gigas? Did you lose it as well? I have one that is getting a little big for my tank and I may need to get rid of it. (it is about 14" right now, but I have a lot of favid corals covering the bottem of my tank and will need to either get rid of them or the clam)
