Are there any problems keeping multiple mandarins in the same tank?
Like two females or two females and one male?

The rule of thumb is one per 100 gallons.

You should only keep one or one pair. Two male will kill each other. A female will try to kill any smaller mandarin, even if it is a male.
They are fish that requires lots of live food. I would not attempt to keep a pair unless you have a 120+ gallons, mature tank, and have no food competitors. There are people who keep them in smaller tank, but they must have something special to modify the tank to increase pod populations.
