Well since I not longer have a bubble tip does anybody else know what else would be suitable for my homeless clownfish. I loved the anemone but it decided to drive itself over a couple of my corals and that was all it took. I've heard of clowns hanging out in a number of other corals so I just wanted to get some ideas.

Adam, this may be a stupid question, but what actually happened? I am planning to put 2 anemones in my tank w/ corals and had no idea of the dangers.

As far as corals go, clowns will host in pretty much everything xenia, torches, leathers and such. It really just depends on the fish. Some will host in a patch of algae or a featherduster.

Good to know, I guess I'll just have to deciede what to try. I have a frogspawn but the fish hasn't touched it.

Jenn- It was fine for a few years but then it decided to move around and in the process sat on top of, drove over, and rested against some of my SPS corals and damaged them. They'll be fine but I can definitly tell where the anemone touched them. Didn't damage as bad as my frogspawn has before. Theres nothing wrong with having one but I didn't want any more issues. Plenty of people have no trouble at all and I wouldn't let the fact that mine hurt a few thigns kep you from getting one. I think it's not as much of an issue with soft corals. I could be wrong though.
