Well, we're off to Port A for a long Thanksgiving weekend! Anyone want to place an order for some local sea life? (NO Sergeant Majors though! We learned THAT lesson) We'll see what sort of cool critters we can net on the jetty this time around! We've still got our Sea Whip, Peppermint Shrimp and Blenny from the August trip...The Pipefish we gave to Tim, and the Sergeant Majors ended up being DONATED to Gallery of Pets (all three have been sold, I'm relieved to say!) Will take pics and let everyone know how we do! :D

Some Ulva (Sea Lettuce) from the jetties would be cool. It is supposed to be really good for growing mysids. The jetties are covered with it.

Nurse sharks are native to almost every tepid and warm water ocean. They are almost a nuisance and used for baiting crab traps in a lot of places. This one has survived from 58-94 degrees this is one extremely hardy shark.
