I have a large green striped anemone that housed a large saddleback clown. I took out the saddleback to accommodate two perculas. The next day the smaller of the two was missing. The other is still swimming back and forth but not going near the anemone. Tonight I wanted to try and mate the one percula with an ocellaris, but when I added the ocellaris the fish went straight to the anemone and became a full course meal. The carpet surrounded the clown with its flaps and fiested. Lesson learned....

No..... Unfortunately, sometimes when new fish are introduced they are stressed and loose some of the slim coat that protects them This leaves them vulnerable to being stung. Carpets are particularly good killers. If you are not attached to the anemone try an E-quadra color. BTA for short.
