Snail/ Fish order

If you order from reeftopia, get me a dozen nassarius vibex. Unless someone else wants to split an order of 48. We'd get 16 for 10 bucks instead of 12 for 10. Remember they're really little, but good sand stirrers. Also, get me a dozen cerith snails. Only if you order from reeftopia though. Thanks

Looking at 2 horse shoe for 12.00 and 24 snails for 15.00 and 3 emeralds for 15.00 if I spent any more they'll be looking for the body after the wife finished with me.

Have some brown short algae showing up on some of my rocks...wondering what would clean it up....

Do you have any snails in the tanks now? Turbos or Astreas? Have they touched this stuff?

Astreas....but they stay mostly on the glass....was wondering if there was anything else that would help. They wiped out all the hair algae I had about 8 months ago...

My only suggestion is either Nerite, Cerith, or a combination of both. They are pretty broad spectrum on what they eat. If they don't work for you, I'll give you some of my dwarf hermits if you want to go that route. I know there are a lot of folks that don't like hermits but these guys will eat just about anything.

If not then I will stick with my previous order of the encrusting gorgonian and let everyone else go half/half. Either way I will be happy with my order. Please let me know what everyone decides.

LOL, they've been in there belly for about 2 months, i guess one of them decided to release them in my tank somehow, now i see alot of red circles on my rock, and the clown is eating them all, so i assume it's the shrimp eggs!!!! the other one is still pregnant! weird how i have 2 cleaner shrimps and they both have eggs, kinda weird!!

I get a combination from reeftopia when I order that includes the hundred lot of the small golden astrea snals for $29. and a group of cerith snails and margaritas (forget if they call the margarittas or what - little round finely stripped ones.) as well as the micro-blue legs and scarlet hermits. What one thing misses, the others get for the most part of it.

Instar...I have plenty of astrea's and don't want anymore hermits...have 3 that I'm keeping a close eye on!! Just need more sandsifters and some grazers so I think I'll stick with the nassarius and the ceriths...thanks tho. Sounds like a good deal.

Do peppermint shrimp bother anything else in a reef?? And do they bother cleaner shrimp?? And are these peppermints' "wurdemanni" type? IF they are, I'll take 1 or 2 off your hands...I still have a few aiptasia I'm fighting...but don't want them messing with the rest o f my tank...especially my cleaner shrimp.

The shrimp from Reeftopia are very small so they won't bother much until they get bigger. I had a good size Peppermint shrimp that didn't bother anything until feeding time. He would go and steal food I had given to my polyps and anemone. Other than that I never had any problems with it.
