drilled holes for mag7!

ok, i need someone that can help me drill holes in my 58gal. tank, in return i can trade for a brand new mag7, im gonna go with a 1inch hole for drain, and 1/2 inch for return!! let me know who can help me out!!!

Rudy, why don't you go with 3/4" for return. You can always down size it to a 1/2 but can always increase the flow.

A Mag 7 is like $45 bucks why don't you get Ziegler to drill the tank. They will probably do both holes for less then $45 bucks. And they have alot more experience then other people.

hey josh, well do you think there's a chance it would crack, i know the tank is kinda old, and i have to drill 5 holes in it!! 3 for the closed loop and to for the return and overflow!! im gonna go with 1 inch and 3/4 for the return, lmk if you have the tools to drill it, maybe i can go over some day and you can teach me how you drilled your tank!!! and if i crack it you can just hook me up with your 45breeder!!!! :grin: j/k dude! and no i wont call you caca, only ppl that are full of it, are called that!!! talk to ya soon!!

I got my mag 7 from this guy. He also has scwd for 29.95 plus 6.95 shipping. I don't see any right now but he only puts up 5 at a time and they go fast.

Have you contacted Aqua Trend on Basse. I called them and they said they'd do it. Of course for 5 holes you'd be looking at around $100. I think they were $20 per hole.

Yeah Aquatrend is $20 a hole when they did mine. Thad Ziegler also drilled my sump once for an 1.5bulkhead for only $15. I'm suprised they wouldn't do it.

I haven't gotten it drilled but I called Aquatrend and they said they did have the bit (Alamo wasn't sure). So I guess I'll just take it to Aquatrend.

Jose, did aquatrend say whether they would take it directly from you or would you have to go thru a store(aka alamo) They can be strange that way. If you go check out their soon to come fish and critter section.
