Has any one used the CPR Continuous Siphon Overflows, I am thinking about sumping out my system. I have used the u tube ones before with out problems. since the cs50 has a compact foot print compared to the Utube types this should work in my tank with out moving the criters. I need to know if they are reliable and will start siphoning in the event of a power outage ??

They work good if you're wiling to clean them out often. After you clean them out, you have to fiddle with it to keep it quiet; else it will gurgle and drive you nut. You'll have to buy a Maxijet to stick the maxijet in the sump to suck out the air bubble from the overflow. The Maxijet will go into the sump and kick out air pulled from the overflow. I recommend that you do not buy it.

IMO I would agree with Vinh.
