Heres a few pics of my recent work. So far we have the tank up on the stand we built and will be plumbing the overflows and returns this week. I should have it lit in the next few weeks with 4- 400 watt XM 20K's. Enjoy!!

Wow! Post some more pics when its complete. Thanks for the idea. We have a space similar to that, great place for a tank. You ought to bring down a wall from the ceiling and make it look built-in.

did you have to reinforce the passthrough? because I know the ones in my house may hold a tank but one that size with live rock live sand and water might be a challenge....

Hey all, Chris isnt here at the moment, But I will help out as best as I can considering he did knock a hole in my house wall for this endevor hehe. The wall was oringinally only about 6 inches thick so we added more support to this wall both vertically and horizontally. Then, we built up a stand using 2x4's strapped to eachother just as you would build a regular stand. I wanted the stand to look like it was actually built with the house and its looking great. We have textured everything and are ready to trim and paint. Now, I have to move my 18 gallon nano because this thing dwarfs my tank. Thanks Chris!! Talk about a good person to have move in your home hehe. We will keep you updated as we go, I have a feeling it will be fun to do. I should have plumbed it tonight, but I will get it done tomorrow.

Have a good one!
~Dustin
