CLAM QUESTION???

ok i bought this derasa clam recently to add with my new awsome maxima clam i have, i bought the clam home and accumilated it to my tank, then i set it on the rock above, and swoosh it rocketed off the top rock to the ground near my rose anemone almost landed in, i was freaked out, then i grabed it and placed it on the dsb, and swoosh rocket to the back of the tank under all the rock work, tryed it again about 15min later and again swoosh, whats the deal, any1 ever experince this b4, pls help me and tell me what the heck is wrong with this thing, iv'e tried like 25 million times to put it back and always goes back to the same place?? getting me very very mad, nocks everything in its path and bounces everywhere, i think i have a retarted clam, pls help!! :evil:

forgot to mention, my blue maxima is doing great on the dsb and doesent even move a bit!! what's the deal!!

my wife also laughs at me and says i got a weird clam :x , if this dont stop im gonna have clam showder this sunday:(

Why does he need to be moved? Does the spot he seems to always go back to put him or something else in danger?

I agree with Joshua. Especially if you have enough light to make your maxima happy on the DSB. It might just be to much to fast. Give it some shade and let it acclimate.
