I want to start keeping corals, mushrooms, anemones, etc... The problem I have is that I have 2 triggers (humu-humu & clown) and a lionfish. Can you guys let me know what type, if any, I can get. I really would like to start with the mushrooms. Reefermadness has some nice looking ones and I want to get in on an order ASAP. Thanks for your help.

well you have two choices, either get rid triggers via trading or selling and start a reef or keep the triggers and buy a whole new set up :\

I've got a baby Clown in a tank with blue mushrooms. So far he has left them alone.

Clown trigger---AWESOME fish! Let's talk I was actually thinking about putting a clown trigger in my reef tank!!!! Help me set my mind straight. Clown triggers eat shrimp, worms, small clams, wires, powerheads, small fish but do they eat corals? I have never heard or seen one do this?

If any of you really want to know if such fish would be interested in corals I would either add a small coral piece to try it (Jinn) or have a holding tank (Jim) were you can test your theories. There is no need to find out the hard way and end up having to remove an animal in an already established tank. I am more than sure all of you have had the experience of wanting to remove a fish and not being able to due to all the great hiding places available for it to hide.

Great idea Fabian. I will try with a frag first, and maybe 1 or 2 mushrooms.
Jim, your right. They eat just about everything (including fingers) and re-arrange you tank for you. I have several loose shells and they love to pick them up and play with them, some half their size. They are definitely AWESOME fish to have.

I have a clown trigger in a reef tank, he has been very happy eating the food I put in and hasn't even gone after the tube worms, yet.
