Yeah you could add more tangs as long as your yellow tang is not to agressive. I would get get a purple or regal and try to get one that is a little bigger in size than the yellow tang if your tang is aggressive.

A purple and a Yellow tang in a 135 being introduced at diferent times sounds like trouble to me.
I would put in a tang with a diferent body like the Naso.

I have had bad luck with yellow and purple together.
Pacific Blue/ Regal (whatever Dori is) gets along ok b/c of the different body shape.

I regularly house a variety of tangs in with yellow tangs (regals, orange shoulder, mimic, kole). You shouldn't have too many problems as long as you avoid other zebrasoma species.

Get a rabbitfish - better algae eaters than tangs and much hardier overall. Other fish that would work ok - hmmm maybe a midas or bicolor blenny? You could try a longnose hawk or lyretail hawk too - they are reasonably crustacean safe as far as hawkfish go.

I have housed yellow, purple, hippo, and red sea sailfin all in the same tank with no problems.
