Yeah, the first two have both done that. I had the tank pretty well going on Figi rock when I added that Florida rock. A few weeks earlier I put in a bunch of GARF grunge and got no mini-cycle. So I figured that my bio filter was pretty robust. Dale in Florida and I decided I could put the Florida rock right in. Big mistake. Huge cycle.
Anyway, the little cukes both upchucked. They recovered and as far as I can tell, nothing else in the tank was affected by that.

Are you using Internet Explorer? I admit I used Microsoft software to do the web site. I didn't realise that Netscape may not like it. I thought HTML was HTML. Of course Microsoft was to make everything their own. If you're getting a DNS error, try again later. There may just be too many people all over the world looking at my pictures :-D

The green things are a type of algae .... neo something ... if remember I'll get you a positive ID - it's harmless and usually ends up wasting away or eaten in most tanks over time.
As for the cukes - the ones you ahve are filter feeders - and as for the toxins ones in the Holothuria genus can definitely release toxins when stressed that only affect vertebrates - not nearly as common as you would think - just make sure you feed them periodically with some good invertebrate filter food.
