Just wanted to express my thanks to Misti for graciously opening her beautiful home to us for the meetiing and Mike for his presentation on Nano's. Very interesting...Joshua...thanks for the acro - hopefully it will do well in my tank. And those that contributed to the raffles also.

It was great seeing old faces & meeting the new ones. We've got a great group - enjoyed it. Glad to see that we now have "membership" dues. It's important that we keep the group going in the right direction.

Thanks for all the food, drinks, etc. too.

Sherri :D

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our gracious hostess, It was a great meeting, I totally enjoyed Mikes presentation, the guy really knows his "fish". With members like this, this club is bound to be a success.

the group is coming together very nicely, new faces popping up all the time. i remember at the very first meeting there were like 8 people chatting over at tom's ribs. i hope this club will continue to grow as it's always enjoyable talking fish. mikeP did a great job on the subject, i think he's destined to be a future teacher. on a side note the raffles must of been rigged in favor of misti and jimN :-)

Ray,
I glad you told me now! I already installed a 400 watt XM 20,000k retro system! I must say it is a tad bright---but once I put my sunglasses on it's right there!

Thanks Misty for being a great host and meeting organizer and to Mike for the presentation. Amazing a person knows that much about fish and reefkeeping and it's not actually their job!

And a special thanks to all those that donated frags and drygoods even though I didn't win anything! Oh well, just like the lotto, I'll keep playing :-)

Special Thanks to . . .

MikeP, for the fascinating presentation on nano's, advice, and sump,

Jim and Joshua for your expertise as well, and frags for everyone,

Misti, for hosting, organizing, and supporting the meeting (your tanks are beautiful as well),

Those who donated raffle items,

And maast members: without them this meeting would not have occurred.

I wanted all of the MAAST members to know that FRITZ is offering special pricing on the type of chiller we donated to your September meeting (who won that by the way?). The Teclima Micro Chiller/Heater is designed to cool and heat aquariums up to 32 gallons in size up to 10°, is extremely quite and efficient, so it is perfect for nano reef tanks. Contact me if you have any questions on pricing or questions.

Thanks,
MIKE

Mike N.,

Thank you very much for the donations. We definitely appreciate your support!

Because of the large number of donations that Ray was able to get, we decided to spread them out a little. The chiller will be raffled at the November 2 meeting. We decided that with such a great prize, it needed a lot of hype and advance notice!

Hope that is OK!
