:-D I don't have the time nor money to do it, but I'm still itching at wanting to setup another tank. Does anybody have an extra (55Gallons or larger) aquarium/stand in nice condition they are not using that are taking up space in the garage, or at a storage facitlity($$$) or cost too much money monthly to run? I only need it until I completely quit reefing in December or May.

If you do have an extra tank/stand in nice condition, please shoot me a good price (rent or for sale/trade) at vpham@swt.edu I'm very cautious about keeping my aquarium stuff in good condition.

I'm not sure which is funnier... the subject of this thread, or that sentence. :-D

Just for that, I'll show you that I have the will power to kick my money sink hole of a hobby. I'll quit for sure this coming December, or May. I do get a feeling of Deja Vu. Didn't I already said stuff like this b4? Many, many times! :-D

My question is if you really want to quit and supposedly have the will power, why don't you just quit now and save even more money?

Not that I want to see you quit, you help keep all of us supplied with good used equipment! I just want you to finally give in and admit you have an addiction like the rest of us! After all, acknowledging you have a problem is the first step to recovery. Or something like that! :-D

Vinh, don't do it! You might end up with a replacement hobby/addiction that's even worse!

One of these day, I'll graduate and have to move out. I'm not planning on hauling my aquarium with me around the U.S. What lession have I learned? Each time I quit, it cost me an additional $500 to $1,000 to start another reef back up. Hence, the reason I'm asking to rent an aquarium. Less hassle buying and selling stuff, then buying, selling stuff all over again. ;)

Vinh - you are a sick man. Sick sick sick.

Lol, if you want an eclipse hex 5 you can have it - they make decent little nanos and you can get a 10 watt screw in PC bulb for em.

Vinh was quitting about a year ago when i first met him, I think he has quit 3 times since then. but i have an idea that will help you...starting now everythime you quit i'll buy everything from you at half price. this will accomplish two things. first, soon you will only be able to afford a 1 gallon goldfish bowl and have to quit and second it will allow me to open up my very own discount superstore :lol2:

vinh,

i have a 58gal. NV combo (36*18*21) that i could maybe do some trading with. i was just holding onto it for a rainy day since i like the dimensions of it, its never been used. i just have the tank, glass canopy, and light, but i could probably get a stand for it at a decent price. oh the bottom is tempered so it can't be drilled.

Thanks for all the offer! Rudy got me a good deal on a 55 gallons. I have a headache from thinking whether or not if I should set the 55G up as a freshwater or saltwater. I'll probably make the 55G into a freshwater tank and overload it with fishes. Something that can't easily be acheived with a saltwater system.

Vinh, TexasState just doesn't seem to fit you like bowfront....LOL...... I guess I'll have to get used to it though.
