Live rock

Has anyone ever bought live rock from themarinecenter.com ?
Have you seen Savaii Ultra Premium Rock? can you describe the shape?

Does anyone know where I can get some branch and shelf rock at a fair price?

Adam, the best shelf rock I've seen is from Gary @ Aquadome. You just have to catch it when he gets it in. I think it'usually uncured but mine had tons of feather dusters, some zooanthids, encrusting gorgonians etc - his prices are decent if you buy in bulk.

I ordered tonga branch from Liveaquaria 2 years ago and it was pretty sad - basically like base rock. I could be wrong but I believe Vinh ordered from TMC at one point in the past.

They said
The Savaii rock is more shelf-like, than, for example, Fiji, but not flat shelf rock. It has a very gnarly texture. It's a little different from Fiji, but not necessarily nicer than Fiji.
Fiji rock is by far the most bang for the buck, and it's as nice as
anything.

Give me a little time to get things set up and running. I was thinking 65-75lbs fiji, 40-50lbs tonga branch, and a couple nice pieces of shelf.

Have you checked CB Pets? They had a nice selection last time I was there - but that was awhile ago. If I remember correctly, they had some Tonga branch and Fiji. The Fiji I got from them was awesome! $3.25/lb. Aqua-Dome rock looks great, but haven't tried it.
