Please ID the two critters in these pics.

The pix are fairly large, be warned.

2822 is some kind of coral?

2818 is a small white tube, ala feather duster, but is has some kind of "shell" of something.

Thanks

In the first pic you have Pachyclavuria species - a.k.a. Green Star Polyps all over, a few pieces of Heliopora a.k.a. Blue Ridge Coral and the only other wierd thing I see in the upper right is a tunicate/sea squirt. Actually if you look below the sea squirt you have some kind of nudibranch there - it may be predatory on something in your tank - look at the white bushy things - it's a sea slug.

In the second pic the brown things could be some type of stony coral, calcerous algae - who knows. I can't tell what I should be looking at in this pic if you can point it out I might be able to get you a general ID.

Second pic, the brown things sticking up are what I was referring to. Sorry for the confusion. I was thinking they were something along the lines of Acropora or something, but it does not appear to be acropora due to lack of branching and such....

First pic, dead center is an orange peice of sponge (I think). At the upper left, there is a white shroud that appears every 2-3 weeks from a white tube, almost like a feather duster. Last night I should have taken a pic when there were almost tenticles coming out of it.

I just picked up some LR from Tim Marvin, speaking of which I need to ask him where it is from. I think there are some shrimp in the tank now. I've seen them at night with a flashnight....never in the daytime or when the lights are on. Also think I heard a clicking noise ala mantis or pistol shrimp but it could be my imagination.

Thanks to all for the help. The white shroud I am talking about is really hard to photograph. I'll see if I can get a shot from 2-3 different angles to highlight it against a new background.

As for the sea squirt, I am not sure what you were referring to. There was an Astrea snail in the pic at the time, if that was what you were referring to.

I edited one of your pics with labels for everything on it - since Chris took the image gallery out I can't post it directly here and don't have any place to put the image online atm - give me your email and I'll send it to you.
