So, after the presentation from the Red Sea rep at the last meeting, has anyone changed over to using the Red Sea salt mix?

I am in need of salt and was curious if anyone has used it and noticed anything different?

I will be using it in the new 65g I am setting up here in Dallas. Plan on moving later this month, so it will be a month or so before I have any hard data.

I used it a couple of years back when I was getting back into marine aquariums. No obvious problems or bonuses from using it as far as I can tell. Am sticking with IO now on all my tanks.

well I use it on my nano. I picked up a bag over at fintique for cheap. No real difference in coral growth or fish health over IO. I did have one gonipora(sp?) that looked better when I moved him/her to the nano, but that could have been due to many factors. but I plan on using the fritz salt on my new tank.

I used a couple buckets two years ago and had a huge hair bloom. I went back to IO and Kent. I'm not sure if the salt was the problem, but it came shortly after I started useing it and receeded and went away when I stopped it's use. By the way it took nearly a year to kill it off.
