Hey all you XM users, I have a question, what position is the nipple on the gas chamber oriented on your bulbs? If its anywhere but up, could you put it up and let me know if you notice any difference in the light output or coloration over the course of the next few days? I accidently had mine to the side, and when I aimed it up, I noticed an increase in brightness and coloration. If you would, please coobberate or dismiss this obsevation.
Thanks for your assistance,
Jim

I dont use XM's, but at my work we use all kind of lamps. On one tool that I use and have to change the lamp every 90 days on the nipple is either to the left or right at 90degrees to the lamp and laser refraction station. I don't know if the XM's are the same but if I'm a little off it does lower the intensity and destorts the wave length. Just a thought.....
