First fragging experiment question

I just made my first attempt at purposely fragging some of my purple mushrooms. I banded them to some small rock rubble and just wanted to know how long I need to keep the bands on before it will take hold of the rock.

When I first tried I was told to drop them in the tank. They attach pretty quick, if not to a rock some rubble in the sand.

Jim recommended cutting them and that worked great for me. They will attach to a piece of rubble and then you just glue the rubble to the new place you want them. I have a pic if you want to see of the two pieces that got created.

That's what I did...placed them on the sand in a low flow area for 3 or 4 days & then placed them on a rock...they attach themselves. I've had no problem with this method at all...in fact, new shrooms are growing beside the fragged ones.

After hitting "New Topic", make sure you add a title and your body information. When you're done simply hit the submit button near the bottom of the page.

Are you using AOL as your ISP? The Invalid Session error is a common one that we have to put up with for a little while longer until the next forum software upgrade is released. :?

I was having the same problem because AOL is my only option for high speed at a decent cost where I live.
Do this and you will be able to post fine. After AOL is up and running bring up another Internet Explorer Window or Netscape if you have it and get onto MAAST using it. I never have a problem posting that way, but can hardly ever post using AOLs window.

A band may rot them out underneath. It is easiest to just let them sit on the bottom and they will attach.
