Have been fiddling with getting the rockwork just perfect for the past few weeks. I think this is the best so far - comments welcome (the streams are pointing forward to blow some crud out that got stirred up - also thinking of hiding a few maxijets behind the rock.

I see so many different rock formations I want to start another tank, but then I think the wife would make me take a dirt nap. Looks good.

Another nice job with the rock Mike. A style I would never had thought of. The "channel" just seems to draw you into the tank. Outstanding.

Wicked sweet Mike, love the channel and the overhangs and the caves and the fish and the tank and the lights.... mmmmm.
How much sand are you running? It looks really shallow.

For anyone that hasn't seen this in person, it looks 10 times better than the picture.

Josh - I had thought about putting the reflectors the other way but considering the spread the RO3s give this looked like the best? If I need to change it I will but I seem to be getting good light now.
Jim - those are indeed streams, Tunze 6000s / 1850 gph - I am going ot move them so they are facing each other on opposite sides of the tank next week - insane amount of flow now but I may be upgrading the transformers on them to make them 6100s (3100 gph!!!). I am thrilled with them - have them on individual single controllers set with varying wave pulses.
The tank is a 215 gallon oceanic reef ready , no bracing just 3/4" glass! @ overflows w/ 1 inch drains and 3/4" returns. Lighting is 3x250 DE HQI in Reefoptix 3 reflectors, currently 2 x 20k and 1x 10k though I may try 2x 10k and put a 20k in the middle to see how that looks.
The biggest dilemma I have now is to go full blown SPS or make it an amazing soft coral tank. I also have about 12 fish in there including a Harlequin Tusk, Regal Tang, Sri Lanka Dottyback, Marine Betta, Copperband Butterfly, Midas Blenny and a bunch of Chromis.

Shipment for the Tunze Deco Rock are in(and probably already gone.) Are you going to buy it to hide your Stream pump?

Hell no - people need to see that big honkin German monstrosity I waited forever for and paid too much to boot! If you can deal with the looks I say they are waaaaayyy better than a single closed loop due to the flixibility in positioning them plus the many variations the controller gives you. The one I've had for a few months is already got a lot of coralline covering it and I imagine in 6 months the point will be moot.

Those Tunze pumps are great. I saw Vinh's and his little Nemo could barely fight the current those things make.
It just bites that they are so expensive.

I have to clean the coralline off of the inlet grill on my Stream once a month; Or else the frozen food get stuck by the grill(instead of getting sucked through.) You have a more power pump then mine, so thing might be different. Seriously, your streams look smalerl in your big *** tank.

My water surface is very turbulence close to the upper front glass, but I'm sure some of the corals on the bottom is screaming for more GPH.
