Invertebrate Food???

I'm here looking at my drs Foster Smith Catalog and there is a section on "Invertebrate Food" what do you feed your Invertebrate?

That is a pretty vague question... What you feed your anemone is not the same that you feed your corals, let alone the differences in photosythetic species and filter feeders. Then if you considers inverts that are complete detritus eaters, then you really don't need to supplement. Of coursem, there are your "hunters" like your green brittles, certain other crabs and snails. THere is a lot crap out there to certain companies manufacturer so consumers like us will buy, when all we need to do is let the tank alone because it is a microcsm.

What exactly are you trying to feed.

Isis, I'm new and learning. I've had my tank for 2 1/2 months now and it was given to me by a friend that had it up and running for about a year. I have a small rock full of Green Star Polyps & a few Mushrooms from Vinh and some Xena from Joshua...I'd like to get a variety of coral but what to feed them I'm not sure, I guess I'll read more...

Joshua I'll look for that book. OK, I have a 65 gallon Hex with a 10 gallon sump & 60 pounds of live rock and 5 small fish in it as well...

I only have one 55 watt PC light on it now, but I have a retro fit PC unit that holds four 55 watt PC bulbs coming out of California, found a guy selling it out of reefcentral. I plan on buying four 10,000k bulbs. Will this work?

That lighting set up should be just fine for your corals. The corals that you have should do fine with out feeding too often but you might want to add some phytoplankton (like ken't phyto-plex, microvert, d.t.'s, instant algae) they all work. I feed my shrooms and polyps some brine shrimp every once in a while too
