Hey everyone, I am switching tanks now and I need two or three holes drilled in my tank. One hole for a 3/4" bulkhead and two for 1/2" bulkheads. Does anyone here have experience and the bits required to drill these holes or can someone reccomend a good, cheap place to drill the holes?
Thanks so much!

I know a member a while back took his tank to Thad Ziegler Glass and they did it for him. Don't know if you have one is Austin or not but you can check with them if they are up there.

just make sure when you or whoever cuts the holes that you use the coolant for it or youll crack the glass... i found out the hard way.....
i think you can use antifreez just make sure you wash out the tank real well and cut from the inside-out not the outside-in..
i went to thad zigler also and they had the bit, coolant and knowhow
and only charged me 15.00 per hole.
they wont guarantee anything either so be prepared to have a cracked tank and if it goes well then thats a bonus if not.......
get ready to buy a new tank.. thats how i look at it .... i know i know the glass is half fulll yada yada yada....
good luck..

Binswanger on Burnet road did it for me at 10 bucks a hole and made nice clean holes they polished down afterwards - 10 bucks a hole was what they charged me but I hear it depends on who you talk to. Some will flat out refuse and some may quote you a different price - still they were nice enough though it took them a week to get to it.
If you need small holes drilled I have bit's for 1/2" holes - not terribly hard but you need to make sure it's not tempered glass and take it slow. Use a small epoxy **** around the hole and keep applying coolant slowly as you work the glass down.
Also you can get inexpensive bits from www.harborfreight.com .
