Need some help... I have a torch that is melting away and cannot figure out why.. Does anyone have any insight to what might led to this problem.
All water test check out good..

No offense, but "good" water params can mean alot of different things to alot of different people, can you tell us exactly what those params are, how new the tank is, how new is the coral, what else is in the tank? This would probably benefit everyone who wants to help :D

Whatsa - melting could be several things - my first guess without seeing it is a bacterial infection or a micro predator.

Does the tissue look brown and jelly like? If so you need to remove the coral asap and make up some new seawater, add a few drops of iodine and drop a powerhead in to get all the diseased tissue off. Leave it in there for about 15 minutes then place it back in your tank in area of good flow. On a torch it's likely if it's on that head it's done for you can try to keep it from spreading to other heads if you act fast.
