Wife bought me some greenstar polyps yesterday from Alamo.

I've got the "food" if you want to call it that, and it says nowhere on the bottle how often to feed.

About how often should I feed?

did you buy kent? usualy its one cap full per 55 gallons of water also
add iodine, alamo sells this sweet little product called reef energizer™ www.customsealife.com

I feed 2-3 times per week, instant algae.

How, Im curious if you dump in the water or feed direct ?

I dump in 5ml straight into the water and the entire tank turns a green nasty color. The corals clear it out in about 15 minutes, and the water is crystal clear again.

You could also baste a little brine shrimp over them.

You know... It's odd... I didn't realize you had to "feed" them...

I got a great colony from TurboBrett about 3-4mos ago and it is spreading like a weed...

I dose about every 2-3 days with a "splash" of Kent PhytoPlex... I guess that does the trick...

I've got the same star polyps from Brett a couple months ago. I never feed them directly, and they are doing great, probably 2-3 times the size now....cs

i put some in my tank about a month and a half ago and have never fed them and they have doubled in size.

I got a really nice rock of green star polyps from Vinh about 3-4months ago...it is really growing, beautiful and neon green. I feed it with the clam & coral diet I got from Jim Norris. Great stuff...! My corals and clam are in a major growth spurt.

Also got a small piece of green star polyps at the June Frag Meeting. It's starting to grow also.

By the way Jim...proud of the fact that my clam I got from you back at the March meeting has grown some new mantle...not bad for 440 VHO.
