Well tank is coming this evening and water is going in it tomorrow - have the LR for it so figure a week to 10 days to cycle at least - was thinking in about 2 weeks.

Super - grammas are 6 bucks from reeftopia.


I will have space in my quarantine for my fish in a week or so so we could probably do it then.

I need some snails and some Nudibranches aswell but I do NOT want to make the trip up to Austin again (I made the trip up there last time we ordered from reeftopia). Is anybody from SA planning on going up there or anyone from Austin coming to SA ?

Last chance for anyone who wants to jump in on this order I am going to place it Monday 8/4 otherwise.

- I can hold animals for an extended period but am in the process of moving things around - worst case I can drive them down to SA - it's only about a 75 minute drive - could meet everyone at one location and we could split the order up.

I am planning to meet up w/ Jose about 10:30 PM. I was thinking Alamo Quarry would be a good spot. Maybe in front of the Gap.

If they come in soon I might be able to make the trip earlier ie next weekend. Or one morning that week.

OK order is in, it came to about 500 before the discount she will email with a total this weekend and I'll do the math and let everyone know how much they owe.


Vinh - they were out of the orange flower anemones - apparently because of the harsh winter there some of the flower anemones are scarce.

PRafferty - same deal no flower anemones, the red gorgonians were not available - if you want one Aquatek usually has them for about 10 bucks a piece periodically or you can have mine - they are not photosynthetic and need to be fed often to thrive, I've had this one going on a year but can't say it's really grown.


It willship out Monday night for delivery tuesday AM - I would like the Austin Round Rock folks to pick up their stuff from my house - I live in North Austin near Braker and Metric (if you know where ACC northridge campus is I am not far from there). I'll post a mapquest link once I find out how you all want to do this. If you need me to keep your stuff here for a day or so I can - since my 75 gallon is still filled with water and has just plants and sand in it the critters can stay in there for the short term if need be.

San Antonio folks figure out where you would like to meet there and when and I'll drive the stuff down that afternoon to save some time and put less stress on the critters.

IF you do drive down instead of Adam...I work until about 3:45 - 4:00...if you are coming down sooner than that...Jose could PROB (will confirm with him) grab mine from you & I can pick mine up from him when I get off work. If after 4:00...I'll get with Jose & we'll find a good meeting spot for dropoff that you won't have to come too far into San Antonio.

Either way..money will be ready.

jose - it's about 30 minutes from my house to New Braunfels, usually no more then hour and 15 mins or so to SA. Stuff is going to be there at 10:30 tuesday - would need about 30 minutes to get everything sorted out then I could be there by say 1pm-1:30? The austin/round rock people can come by my place in the evening -

San Antonio people - let jose know if it's ok to drop the stuff off with him and where so I can coordinate this -

Honestly I only thought one or two people would jump on this order.

Good news is we got 15% off total order I will have what everyone owes Sunday night when Edie from Reeftopia emails me back.

Sherri, if you have maxijet type powerheads just get a sponge cover for them, many store will have something that will fit. The worst for softbodied critters are Aquaclears - these things move a ton of water but in doign so can shred stuff in a heartbeat. Make sure you cover the grilles of your overflow too if you can, maybe some eggcrate covered with window screen would work.


Glad everyone is doing well with their critters - my chalk bass are cooler than cool!, I'll post pics once I get things organized.
