Has anyone seen, heard of or used SeaLab #28 automatic replenisher by Boyd Enterprises, Inc? They are white cubes and supposed to automatically replenish certain elements (strontium, calcium ect).
Do they actually work?

They are not something I would recommend someone use. The Dallas store bought tons of them a few years ago, and was not very impressed with them.

I sell them but don't use them personally. There are certainly better ways to maintain levels. I used them on my 20 gallon and they worked pretty well but there are downsides to this product such as.....
It is not a "smart" block as it is advertised and needs to be placed in a location with very, very low circulation or it will dissolve too quickly and raise levels too high.
The calcium source is calcium chloride (just like turbo calcium and many other products) which will eventually cause an ionic imbalance unless you do fairly large water changes regularly. Many people do not keep up with this and eventually have problems maintaining their alkalinity. Much better to use a balanced calcium source such as kalkwasser or the two part calcium additives.
