Stars will not open..

Anyone have any idea why green stars would not open?
What could cause this?

I was having problems with Xenia, now that seems fine. I'm still trying to bring up my ph.

Any thoughts would be a help.

mine dont open when there is either no light, or the powerhead gets moved and they dont get any flow. Other that that, maybe something water chemistry related.

I tested the water, calcium was low, around 200, I added some calcium and I do think it also has to due with less water flow.
I think I fixed both issues.

My green star polyps wouldn't open for a few days and I really couldn't figure out what was different. So on a whim I diluted a tiny amount ofKent PhytoPlex and gently blew it on them with a turkey baster and the next day they opened up. Coincedence? I don't know, but they've been fine since then.
