I ended up with 3 of the frags you mentioned. For the first time (I'll probably jinx myself), none of them took an immediate nose dive. I wouldn't say you could be sure it's the epoxy, but mine are doing fine. I used a gel CA called Quicktite (brand is Loctite). Anyone else?

They will die if you handle or press on them too much also.

1 of the brown acro pieces I got died right away but the purple acro and another (monti?) is still alive and both seem to be doing fine. Can't say they're thriving yet though....

My tubastrea is doing great now. It's open up pretty much only at night still though but around 10 PM it knows it's feeding time.

My Chevron knocked the purple acro frag I brought home off the rock it is resting on (it is not attached) and when I picked it up to put it back it has 5 new branches forming already. The branches are forming on the down side.

As for the Lace (purple with orange tips) it has already gained in size. I didnt grab a ruler but where its now placed is looking cramped.

Sadly, the frags from the large piece did not live for me either. One lasted about 2-3 days, the other less than 7. I have no idea why as they were in good flow under VHO lighting.

I have the base of the acro in my tank. It is showing no problems at all. It is slowly growing, no dead spots at all.

I had problems with the putty once, too. Nothing died, but it made my skimmer go bonkers for almost a week and was a general PITA. Crazy glue gel seems to work way better for me, although gluing frags is one of my least favorite reefkeeping activities.

My acro frag seems to be doing well. Its not blue but more of a brown/tan with blue tips. I have noticed some growth on it also.

The tubastrea is also doing great, full polyp extension at night. It opens within 30 minutes of turning the lights off. I've been feeding it Cyclopeeze and it seems to be doing great!

Setup:
10gal tank
96w 50/50 powercompact
10% waterchange every week
