How do y'all attach Colt Corals? Glue? Fishing line? Mine does not seem to want to be attached any way that I try!

You can try bridal veil net from Wal-Mart(fabric & craft section) & loosely tie it into a rock w/ rubberband. My colt frags was flying around the tank, and it's probably already rotted away under a dark rock somewhere.

Or you can try to wedge the frags btwn two rocks in a low flow areas. Colt are slimy and very, very, very hard to attach.

You can also take a plastic toothpick and spear it through the stalk. Then rubberband it to a rock till it attaches on its own.

Yeah...speaking of...the nice size colt I got from Pete at the meeting was there this morning when I left...(rubber banded to a rock I might add...) & when I got home a few minutes ago....gone....geesh....NOW I need to find it by moving rocks I guess...sure don't want it rotting behind LR somewhere. Always something... ;)
Guess I'll try one of these other methods...was doing pretty good since Sunday with all my new goodies... :? I have a rainbow of colored rubberbands in my tank. LOL
Oh, by the way Misti...what is the name of the little green piece I got from you Sunday at the meeting??? Really pretty neon green & it has really branched out nicely (rubberbanded also I might add!) Thank you!

Tore my rock apart & couldn't find it. :-o There is a little nub still on the rock/rubberband. It was at least 5-6 inches high! Too strange....

I had a big 10 inches bush of colt that won't attach. It floated around the tank. Next thing I know there's slime everywhere as the colt got broken up in the current and turn to slimy gravy mush.

I use glue ... and the next day some more glue ... and by the third its attached. I make sure its dry each time and mostly dry before putting back in the tank.

LOL I found my long lost colt frag I got from Pete! Down under rocks. Got it & pierced thru it with a plastic wire & wrapped it to a small rock. It's a really nice frag & very happy I found it. We'll see how it goes now... :D
Tried glue...these guys are slimy!! :-o
